Applicants must:

Be a shareholder or direct descendant of a shareholder; or
A beneficiary of a whanau trust that is a shareholder; or
Entitled to a life interest in accordance with the provisions of the Maori Land Court
Be studying at degree level or higher
Be in their final year of study
Be studying at a New Zealand Institution
Provide a copy of their academic record
Applicants must reside in New Zealand
Be willing to attend the Trust’s Annual General Meeting and wānanga to learn about the Rotoiti 15 Trust

It is preferable that applicants be studying one of the five main areas of Trust business:

Agribusiness and Horticulture
Business Management
Forestry
Iwi Environmental Management
Tikanga Maori Related Courses

Trustees have discretion to consider applications where the applicant is not studying one of the five areas however those who meet the above criteria will be given first preference.
